What you need

cup unsweetened almond milk

cup pumpkin puree

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground clove

tsp allspice

tsp nutmeg

tsp salt

tbsp dark brown sugar

granola

chopped pecans

heavy cream
Instructions
0 Add 2 cups of almond milk into a medium sauce pan and place over medium high heat 1 Once the almond milk begins to steam, whisk in 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves, 1/8 teaspoon of all spice, 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1/8 teaspoon of salt 2 Once this mixture begins to simmer, stir in the oats. If you prefer your oatmeal thick, add 1 1/4 cups of oats, but if you prefer your oatmeal on the looser side, only add 1 cup of oats 3 Bring the mixture to a low boil and cook stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes 5 Once the mixture begins to thicken, remove the oats from the heat and let them sit for 2-3 minutes 6 Transfer the oatmeal into bowls and garnish with granola, chopped nuts and a drizzle of yogurt or heavy creamView original recipe
