cup dark brown sugar
cup coconut butter
cup unsweetened apple sauce

cup old fashioned oats

tsp baking powder

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp nutmeg

tsp clove

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

cup black walnuts

Instructions
0 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 1 Grease a 9”x9” square baking dish or a 9”-10” oven safe skillet and set aside 2 Combine 1 3/4 cup of almond milk with 2 large eggs, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of coconut oil or melted butter and 1/2 cup of apple sauce in a large bowl 3 Add 3 cups of old fashioned oats, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of cloves, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and mix until completely combined 4 Fold in the diced apples 5 Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish 6 Optional: top with additional apples 7 Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until the oats feels set around the edges 8 Allow the oats to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving 9 Optionally, garnish with yogurt and a few slices of fresh appleView original recipe
