0 Preheat your oven to 400 degrees 1 Cut each pumpkin in half and remove the seeds and stringy flesh 2 Sprinkle with salt (optional) 3 Place the pumpkins cut side down onto a parchment lined baking sheet 4 Bake on the center rack of a 400 degree oven for 40-60 minutes or until the pumpkins are easily pierced by a sharp knife 5 Allow the pumpkins to cool until they are cool enough to handle 6 Scoop out all of the flesh and transfer it into a food processor or blender 7 Pulse until the flesh is completely smooth and fully pureed 8 Store in an air tight container in the refrigeratorView original recipe
