What you need

4 ⅛ oz dark brown sugar

¾ tsp baking powder

1 salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp clove

¼ tsp ground ginger

3 tbsp full fat milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

8 tbsp salted butter

2 tbsp sweet butter

2 tbsp cinnamon sugar

0 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 1 In a large bowl, combine 200 grams of all purpose flour with 115 grams of brown sugar, 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of cloves and 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger 2 Add 3 tablespoons of whole milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix to distribute 3 Add 8 tablespoons of softened butter and work it in using a stiff spoon. Once a dough begins to form, lightly knead the dough with your hand until all of the dry ingredients have been fully incorporated into the dough 4 Use a greased cookie dough scoop to transfer tablespoons of dough rolled into balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet 5 Bake the cookies in a 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden and feel softly set 6 Transfer the cookies onto a cooling rack 7 Optionally, dip the tops of each cookie into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar before serving 8 Store in an airtight container at room temperatureView original recipe
