Peanut Butter Fudge Pretzel Oat Bars

cup dark brown sugar
extra large egg

cup milk

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

tsp salt

cup old fashioned oats

oz sweetened condensed milk

oz semisweet chocolate chips

cup creamy peanut butter

cup pretzel

fine sea salt

0 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 1 Prepare a 9”x13” baking dish by spraying with non-stick baking spray and lining the bottom with parchment paper Make the oat layer... 3 In a large bowl, use an electric hand mixer to cream 1 cup of room temperature butter with 2 cups of brown sugar 4 Add 2 large eggs, 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup of milk and mix until creamy 5 Add 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, 3 cups of oats and 1 teaspoon of salt and use a silicone spatula to mix until just combined 6 Press 2/3 of the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish and set the remaining oat mixture aside for now Make the chocolate fudge layer... 8 In a microwave safe bowl or double boiler, carefully melt down 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk and 12 ounces of chocolate chips until completely smooth and combined 9 Pour this mixture over the oat layer and spread evenly Make the peanut butter layer.... 11 In a microwave safe bowl or double boiler, melt 1 1/2 cups of creamy peanut butter and stir until smooth 12 Drizzle the peanut butter evenly over the fudge layer 14 Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the peanut butter layer and top with pretzel pieces and a light sprinkling of flaky sea salt Bake the bars... 15 Bake the bars in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes 16 Allow the bars to cool completely before transferring the bars out of the baking dish onto a cutting board and slicing 17 Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or the refrigeratorView original recipe
