No-Knead Same Day Ciabatta Bread

A simple same day ciabatta recipe that requires just 5 ingredients and no kneading. They can be baked up as 2 long loaves, 6 sandwich sized rolls or 8-12 dinner rolls. They have a thin crust and wonderfully tender and airy interior.

What you need

oz olive oil
oz bread flour

oz water
oz salt

0 Weigh all of the ingredients and combine them in a large bowl 1 Mix until you have a sticky dough with all of the dry ingredients fully incorporated 2 Cover the bowl and let the dough rest in a warm spot for 30 minutes 3 Dampen your hands then pull and fold the outer edges of the dough into the center. Cover the bowl and rest the dough for another 30 minutes 4 Repeat this process 2 more times (3 in total) and then let the dough rest in a warm place for 60 minutes 5 Gently transfer the dough into a generously floured surface and gently work into a rectangle shape use the side of a long knife or pastry cutter 6 Use a sharp knife or pastry cutter to divide the dough into your preferred shapes or sizes 7 Carefully transfer the loaves onto a parchment lined baking sheet leaving an inch or 2 between each one 8 Cover the dough with a light kitchen towel and rest for 45-60 minutes 9 Preheat your oven to 425° 10 Bake for 20-24 minutes or until golden brown and hollow sounding 11 Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperatureView original recipe
