1 cup granulated sugar

4 cup water
1 fresh blackberries

1 Gather 1 cup of fresh lemon juice (4-5 large lemons) and set aside 2 Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan 3 Add 1 cup of granulated sugar into the boiling water and stir until all of the sugar has dissolved 4 Remove the saucepan from the heat 5 Add the fresh lemon juice into the simple syrup (the water and sugar) and stir to combine 6 Transfer the lemon simple syrup into a large juice carafe 7 Add the remaining 3 cups of water and stir to combine 8 Refrigerate to chill or serve immediately over iceView original recipe
