tsp italian herb mix

tsp garlic powder

bell pepper

cup beef broth

tbsp tomato paste

yellow onion

tsp salt & pepper

tsp onion powder

cup parmesan cheese

oz tomato puree

oz canned diced tomatoes

lb ground beef

oz orzo pasta
Instructions
0 Place a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 pounds of ground beef and season generously with garlic powder, onion powder and dried Italian herbs 1 Cook the beef until it is browned all over and broken down into small pieces 2 Transfer the beef onto a plate and set aside for now 3 Add a large diced yellow onion, 4 cloves of minced garlic and a large diced sweet pepper and sauté until softened 4 Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs and a generous pinch of salt and black pepper 5 Add the brown beef back into the skillet along with 15 ounces of crushed tomatoes, 15 ounces of tomato purée, 2 cups of beef broth and 8 ounces of dried orzo, cover the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes 6 Once the orzo is tender, stir in some finely chopped parsley and about a cup of finely shredded parmesan 7 Enjoy!View original recipe
