Flaxseed Dog Crackers

What you need
½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp raw honey

2 ½ cup flour

¼ cup flaxseed

2 tbsp flax seed
Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 2 In a medium bowl, mash the banana until smooth 3 Add the apple sauce and honey and mix to combine 4 Add the baking powder and flaxseeds and mix to combine 5 Add 1 1/2 cups of flour and mix until fully incorporated 6 Continue adding flour until you develop a dough dry enough to knead and roll out 7 Transfer the dough onto a floured surface 8 Roll the dough out to approximately 1/4 inch thick (dust with additional flour during the rolling process, if necessary) 9 Cut out crackers using a round cookie cutter, pastry cutter or dog bone cutter 10 Transfer the crackers onto a parchment lined baking sheet 11 Use a fork to poke holes in the top of each cracker 12 Whisk 1 egg in a small dish and brush the tops of each cracker lightly 13 Sprinkle with whole flaxseeds 14 Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy 15 Let them cool fully on a cooling rack before serving 16 If you ground your flaxseeds, transfer the crackers into an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator.
