cup granulated sugar

cup buttermilk

cup red wine

cup all purpose flour

cup cocoa powder

tsp baking soda

tsp baking powder

tsp vanilla extract

0 Preheat your oven to 350° 1 Grease and line a deep 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper and set aside for now 2 In a large bowl, whisk 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar with 2 large eggs until fully combined 3 Add 1/2 cup of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract and 1 cup of buttermilk and mix until smooth and airy 4 Sift 1 3/4 cups of all purpose flour, 3/4 cup of dark chocolate cocoa powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt into the bowl and mix until just combined 5 Add a cup of red wine and mix until fully incorporated 6 Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan 7 Bake at 350° for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick will come out of the center of the cake clean 8 Enjoy with whipped creamView original recipe
