Crispy Honey Butter Chicken

What you need

cup all purpose flour

cup modified cornstarch

tsp baking soda

cup water
vegetable oil

tbsp butter

cup honey

tbsp granulated sugar

tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
0 Combine 1/2 cup of all purpose flour, 2/3 cup of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 3/4 cup of cold water in a large bowl and set aside 1 Dice 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs and season with garlic powder and onion powder 2 Add the chicken into the flour mixture and mix until all of the chicken is generously coated 3 Add several inches of vegetable oil into a wide pot over medium to medium high heat 4 Once the oil bubbles when a small amount of batter is dropped into it, carefully drop pieces of coated chicken into the hot oil being sure not yo crowd the skillet 5 Once the chicken is golden brown and crispy, transfer the crispy chicken onto a paper towel lined plate and repeat with the remaining chicken 6 Once all of the chicken is golden brown and crisp, add 4 tablespoons of butter, 1/4 cup honey, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce into a large skillet over medium heat 7 Once the butter has melted and the sauce is simmering, add the crisp chicken and toss to coat 8 Serve with rice, noodles or greensView original recipe
