What you need
cup firmly packed brown sugar

cup granulated sugar
extra large egg

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

cup cocoa powder

tsp espresso powder

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

tsp garam masala

tsp ground cinnamon

0 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 1 In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup of room temperature butter, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar using an electric hand mixer or a stiff whisk 2 Add a large egg and a teaspoon of vanilla extract and whisk vigorously until fully combined 3 Add 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of espresso powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons of garam masala and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and mix until just combined 4 In a separate bowl, combine 1/3 cup of granulated sugar with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon or garam masala 5 Roll about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough into balls, roll generously in the cinnamon sugar and transfer onto a nonstick or parchment lined baking sheet leaving 2 inches between each 6 Bake for 11-12 minutes in a 350 degree oven and then transfer the cookies onto a cooling rack 7 Allow the cookies to cool until fully set on the baking sheetView original recipe
