What you need
oz piloncillo

clove

cinnamon stick

star anise

cup ground coffee
Instructions
0 Combine 8 cups of water with 3 ounces of piloncillo, 3 whole cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 star anise pods in a medium pot placed over medium high heat 1 Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir to bring the piloncillo up from the bottom of the pot 2 Once the piloncillo has fully dissolved, transfer the pot off of the heat and add 1/2 cup of coffee grounds 3 Let the coffee steep for 5-8 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your coffee 4 Pour the mixture thru a fine strainer or cheesecloth and enjoy hotView original recipe
