Couve à Mineira - Brazilian Garlic Collards

A Brazilian staple of thinly sliced collard greens sautéd in garlic butter.

Wash the collard greens, remove the stems and thinly slice the leaves
Place a large skillet over medium heat
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter into the skillet and once the butter has melted, add 6 cloves of minced garlic
Cook the garlic for about 90 seconds while stirring consistently
Add the thinly sliced collard greens and cook for about 5 minutes
Season with salt and black pepper and enjoy!
