Creamy Chai Oats

A creamy, chai inspired twist on a traditional bowl of oats that will make you excited to wake up tomorrow morning.
Combine 3 1/2 cups of almond milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a medium saucepan and bring to a low simmer over medium high heat
Add 2 cups of old fashioned oats, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of all spice, 1/4 teaspoon of cloves, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon of cardamom, a pinch of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and whisk until completely combined
Simmer for about 6 minutes or as instructed by the manufacturers instructions.
Garnish with granola and a splash of almond milk
